Warren Buffett was already a lakhpati at the age of 14 years

Warren Buffett, currently the second richest man in the world, has always had the knack for investing his money wisely. A recent report revealed that even at the age of 14, he was already a rich man by his own standard.

The American real estate magnate earned an income of $364 from his paper route job, according to his 1944 federal income tax returns that was given to given to PBS – that year he was just 14 years old. In addition, the young man then made an investment of $228.50.

The shrewd investor, even as a teenager, was already doing quite well for himself.

If the sums are calculated in terms of today’s dollar rate, he had made a handsome income of over $5000 (Rs 32,2775) in income and as much as $3200 (Rs 20,6576) in investments. Not bad for a high school going kid!
