Donald Trump pulled the United States out from the landmark Paris Climate Agreement today saying it was his done “in order to fulfil my solemn duty to protect America and its citizens, the United States will withdraw.”
Trump said he may renegotiate a better deal later, but European countries said that won’t happen. The US is the second biggest greenhouse gas emitter in the world after China. Greenpeace immediately said this turns the United States from climate leader to ‘climate deadbeat’.
