CNN show host Jake Tapper yesterday cut off White House adviser Stephen Miller after a heated debate in which both sides clearly lost their cool.
Tapper brought Miller to his show to discuss the controversial book – Fire and Fury – written by Michael Wolff.
The book made numerous allegations, including former chief strategist Steve Bannon’s suggesting that Donald Trump was likely to meet Russian lawyers in the runup to his presidential campaign. The book also claimed that Trump loves to eat cheeseburgers in bed.
Miller slammed CNN, telling Tapper, “your network has been going 24×7 with all this salacious coverage and I know that it brings a lot of you guys a lot of joy in trying to stick the knife in.”
That statement did not go well with Tapper, who hit back: “No one at CNN is sticking knives in anybody, there are a lot of people in the White House quoted in the book.”
