YMA to join hands with Indian Medical Association

Aizawl: Mizoram’s largest civil society organization Young Mizo Association (YMA) has decided to join hands with Indian Medical Association (IMA) to take measure for improvement of general health.

A MoU to this effect will be signed soon, YMA said in a statement on Saturday.

The statement said that executive meeting of the Association was held on Friday during which it was agreed to sign pact with IMA to jointly take measure for improvement of  public health.

The meeting decided to celebrate YMA day in all YMA branches on 15 Junewhich will marked with tree plantation programme. It further decided to honour successful students who appeared in top ten list in High School Leaving Certificate and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination on June 1 and also to organize Training of Trainers on Tourism Awareness Campaign on 8 June and drama competition during 10-20 July.
