Aizawl: Stressing the need for government that would look into the problem of people, Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla said Mizoram has badly needed a people friendly government that would be accessible by every walk of life. He said that government employees and other officials have to imperatively go hand in hand and cordially work together for the smooth functioning of the government. “ We need people friendly government that would help the people and would be accessible by every denizens,” he said, adding that employees are highly accountable for this.

Unlike politicians, government employees do not change within short period of time but continue their service for a long time and the Indian democracy has strongly demanded that employees must openly cooperate with every new government, he added.
