Aizawl (zoramobserver.com): At least 7 houses and 7 graves have been damaged due to landslide as heavy rains hit Mizoram last night, according to latest information received today. There was no human casualty.
Sources said that one building was swept away by flash flood at Rangvamual on the outskirt of Aizawl city while 3 houses at Phunchawng were damaged by landslide.

One concrete building has collapsed due to landslide at Lengpui village, about 30 km away from the state capital.
One house each at Republic veng in Aizawl and Dapchhuah in Mamit district were also damaged by landslide.
Sources also said that at least 7 graves at Tuikual cemetery in Aizawl were damaged by landslide. Volunteers of YMA today carried out social work to repair the damaged houses and graves.
Landslide also occurred at different parts of the state blocking highways.
