It would be nice for the Jacksonville Jaguars to end on a high note.
It’s great that the Jacksonville Jaguars have clinched the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, but wouldn’t be great if they won their second game of the year, and beat the Indianapolis Colts out of playoff contention? That would be a fantastic way to close a 2020 season that wasn’t very kind to this Jacksonville team, wouldn’t it?
This is a must-win game for the Colts. For them to qualify for the postseason, they need a win in Week 17, and some help from other teams even though they currently have a 10-5 record. Based on how the Jaguars have played in recent weeks and the fact they haven’t won a game since the season opener against these same Colts, it’s not far-fetched to think ‘Indy’ is going to win this one.
Also, the ‘Jags’ will be missing rookie star running back , wide receiver Jr., and wide receiver, so heading into Sunday, this looks like a mismatch. On the other hand, this Jacksonville team has already beaten ‘Indy’ this season and has shown flashes of competent play throughout the season.
Although the Jaguars haven’t gotten into the winning column much in 2020, they could surprise everyone and spoil the Colts’ playoff chances. For that to happen, they will need to keep an eye on these ten Colts.
