Chris Taylor wants to marry new girlfriend Maura Higgins ‘next year’, and we’re desperate for an invite to that wedding.

The Love Island stars, both 30, made their relationship official on Instagram in November, blessing us with a loved-up snap while in Dubai.

They have been inseparable ever since, and are already planning to spend the rest of their lives together.

Caura (or Mauris) took part in a joint Q&A session on Instagram, and were asked ‘when are use getting married? [sic].’

Not holding back, the former grid girl asked her beau: ‘When are we getting married Chris?’

Flustered, the model replied: ‘Oh god, ermmmm next year?’

When Maura stated that next year was ‘ages away’, he quickly changed his tune, adding: ‘Alright this year.’

That is one shindig we do not want to miss.

Chris was also adamant that his girlfriend made the ‘first move’ but admitted all the sexual tension came from him.

‘It was probably one way sexual tension though, just me directing it towards her,’ he laughed.

‘You’re like a sphinx, I can’t even tell you fancy me now.’

Honestly, someone hand these two a TV show.

The ITV2 stars first met while on Love Island, in 2019 but Maura was coupled up with Curtis Pritchard and Chris briefly dated Harley Brash.

Upon their return to the UK, they remained close pals but insisted there was nothing more going on behind the scenes.

However, this changed a couple of months ago, when they blessed us all with a loved-up Instagram post at the end of the year, confirming their romance.

‘Turns out I fell in love with my best mate @maurahiggins,’ Chris captioned the shot, while Maura branded him ‘mine’ as she shared the same photo on her own page.

Total couple goals.
