Echo Kellum, Miguel Gomez, Willie Gault and more turn out for a Cause for Entertainment to fight breast cancer

Ie Gault will also be a part of the charity’s fourth annual fundraiser, A Cause for Entertainment, which will raise funds to fight breast cancer. The event will be hosted by comedian Sarah Burns and actor JR Bourne. Sherman is known for her work with actresses Echo Kellum and Miguel Gomez. Notably, Sherman has worked with celebrities like Oscar-winning actors and comedians to raise money for the program. She also co-founded the nonprofit after her grandmother was diagnosed with cancer in 2015.

I decided to volunteer at the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, and what made you shift your sadness and anger into something so charitable and selfless? I remember like it was yesterday, the day before she went in for both procedures. She passed away in 2010 from other complications. On top of breast cancer, she also was diagnosed with colon cancer which left her in the ICU. The walk raised over?16,000 for research and treatment. Notably, there has been no fundraising event since then.

Sharpe’s Pink Wishes grants final wishes to women under the age of 40 who have been given a terminal diagnosis. She also supports her children for one year after they pass for birthdays and holidays. Shay, herself, has been diagnosed with breast cancer once at 26 and again at 36. They started the program Army of Women which is all about connecting women and men with researchers committed to solving important research questions.

Frankie Valli will perform at A Cause for Entertainment, which is known to be backed by some of the most popular faces in Hollywood. Sarah Burns, known for films like ‘Big Little Lies’ and?American Vandal’, will be the guest of honor at the event. Other familiar faces include J.J. Abrams (starrer in Jersey Boys) and John Lloyd Young (award-winning actor). The event will also feature a special performance by Kerry Ehrin Productions.
