BJP rule a must for Mizoram development, says Prof JV Hluna

Aizawl: BJP Mizoram unit president Prof. J V Hluna on Tuesday said that BJP must come to power in order to bring development and change in Mizoram.

The academician turned politician said that his party has welcomed any leaders from any party be it Congress or MNF, whoever wanted to bring development in the state to join BJP.

Citing that BJP is the only option for bringing development in the state, the BJP leader said that the real development can’t happen and the aspiration of the people will not be fulfilled unless the BJP comes to power in the state.

“As we are not going to receive development and see things happened as our desire, the BJP rule is the only option in Mizoram to bring development and changes,” he said.

He said that certain needs of the people will have to met through the special package from the center as the state budget alone is not sufficient enough to meet the needs of the people due to financial constraint.

Hluna urged the people of Mizoram to play clean politics free of any lies.

“The Christian Mizos should play a politics, which is free of false propaganda and lies. I am anxious to see the real development happen in the state,” he said.

He said that the BJP will give priority to the development of the farmers if it comes to power after the state assembly elections.

He added that Kissan Morcha has been formed in the state to look into the problem of the farmers.

The president also claimed that the influence of BJP in Mizoram has been surging high despite many baseless accusations.

Mizoram, which is the last Congress-ruled state in Northeast goes to poll at the end of this year.

The BJP is taking massive effort to decimate the last Congress bastion in the northeast.

BJP leader Ram Madhav had earlier told media that his party would launch massive campaign trail to strengthen the party from August.
